The EDP Networks Platform Strategy Consultant will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the platform-wide strategy.
This role involves high-level strategic planning, comprehensive market analysis, and close coordination with various teams to drive strategic initiatives and optimize platform performance.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Bologna Masters degree or Pre-Bologna in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • More than 8 years of experience in strategic planning, market analysis, or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of managing and executing complex projects.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the collection, analysis, and synthesis of market intelligence to support strategic decision-making at the highest level.
  • Identify and interpret major trends in society, economy, technology, and policy, providing strategic recommendations for the network.
  • Lead the articulation with the Regulation team to ensure regulatory findings are accurately translated into strategic business insights.
  • Monitor and critically evaluate the strategies, commitments, and performance of comparable players in the Networks sector.
  • Maintain and continuously update the platform strategic narrative, ensuring its effective communication to key stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage regular reviews of the Strategic Action Plan, collaborating with regional teams to enhance platform performance.
  • Define and report on key strategic indicators, ensuring comprehensive tracking and reporting on their progress.
  • Conduct in-depth economic analysis of high-value investment projects to forecast, evaluate, and guide profitability optimization.
  • Coordinate with Network Planning and FP&A teams to develop, maintain, and refine a CAPEX prioritization framework and investment policy.
  • Identify and assess new value creation opportunities, including new business models and inorganic growth options.
  • Lead consultant-style priority projects and ad-hoc analyses, focusing on finance and economics issues.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
