Neurology Consultant - Epilepsy

The post will include 2 epilepsy clinics per week (1 first seizure and 1 complex epilepsy) and 1 general neurology clinic per week. Once a month a general neurology clinic will be replaced by a neurology hot-clinic. For between 2-4 weeks per year all activity will be replaced with being the neurology consultant providing cover to the general neurology ward. General neurology and in-patient neurology is delivered from the £400 million state of the art Brunel Building.
The post-holder will join 23 consultant neurologists who collectively provide general neurology and broad a range of sub-specialist interests within the Department of Neurology at North Bristol Trust (NBT). On call The post holder will contribute to a 1 in 10 stroke on call service out of hours service and in order to maintain competence for this on call they will also provide approximately one DCC of stroke care within normal working hours
