WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Kite Factory is seeking a dynamic and experienced New Business and Marketing Manager to join our team, reporting to the Head of Marketing & New Business. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic thinker with a minimum of four years’ experience in business development and marketing within the media and advertising industry.
The role of the New Business & Marketing Manager is to support the Head of Marketing & New Business and wider team to implement The Kite Factory’s annual NBM strategy to deliver new business income.

  • 3-4 years’ experience in marketing or business development roles within the media industry.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence and attract new clients, supporting the senior leadership team and New Business Director with prospecting efforts, and implementing best practice pitch management across TKF pitches.

MARKETING TASKS:

  • Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
  • Produce and copywrite all marketing content including collateral, websites, email marketing, new business proposals and client-facing documents
  • Lead the social media strategy and develop new ideas to promote lead generation and drive engagement
  • Develop and maintain the website including content creation, wireframes and SEO
  • Oversee the thought leadership calendar and newsletter distribution
  • Oversee the development and organisation of case studies
  • Regularly analysis and evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures
  • Co-ordinate all PR activity with PR supplier and TKF team
  • Manage the ideation, content and logistics of all events
  • Produce / design marketing collateral and materials
  • Work with HR to ensure quality internal comms and recruitment efforts
  • Work with teams to identify new campaign launches and potential awards
  • Oversee award submissions and support videos

NEW BUSINESS TASKS:

  • Manage logistics for new business meetings
  • Ensure pitch process best practice is always followed
  • Proof and write content for RFIs
  • Collate content and design chemistry / pitch decks
  • Update and maintain the tender and case study library
  • Create collateral for credentials, pitches and thought leadership projects
  • Update intermediary profiles, credentials and updates
