Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital is a long-established practice serving Canberra for over 30 years with an enviable staffing retention rate. We have a dedicated team of 35 staff members that achieve a high standard of care for our patients. We have a friendly workplace that provides effective management systems that support team members to achieve success in their role.

ABOUT US

At Tuggeranong Veterinary Hospital, we promote the joy of pet ownership and cultivate long term client relationships that are based on a high standard of care. We are a progressive and busy hospital, growing by word of mouth with a large team comprising of Veterinarians, Nurses, Animal Attendants and Administrative Staff.
We are open six days a week (Monday — Friday: 8am — 7pm and Saturdays 8am-3pm). Lunch breaks are paid for on unbroken shifts.
We have a modern, purpose built 100% small animal hospital including access to modern equipment including Vetstat blood gas analyser, Procyte haematology analyser, digital x-ray, flexible and rigid video endoscopes, dental machine, ECG, doppler ultrasound, pulse oximetry, doppler and PetMap blood pressure monitors etc
Our clinic is proudly owned by Vets Central and as part of a larger organisation, you will have the benefit of a sharing of knowledge from various avenues.

There are opportunities for surgery, ultrasound, dental, and special interest development. The successful candidate will be supported in a culture of collaboration with our team of Veterinarians and support staff to provide a high standard of patient care.
You will be eligible for the Vets Central New Graduate Program. The program is a 24-month mentored journey designed to support your transition from university to the professional world. Our program focuses on key areas of development, providing hands-on clinical experience, business skills, personal well-being support, and exceptional client communication training.
