West Cork Distillers was founded in 2003 by John O’Connell, Denis McCarthy and Ger McCarthy and has since grown to a team of over 200 people based in our distillery in Skibbereen, Co. Cork and in our Waterford site, Donohoe Drinks. We are built on an entrepreneurial energy and a passion for the science and art of spirit and whiskey production.
We have been recognised for our innovative approach, and credited with maturing, distilling and bottling some of the finest craft Irish Whiskey on the global market today.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR..

We are currently looking for an New Product Development Manager to join our team in West Cork Distillers.
This role is central to our success in terms of developing our own brand and customer products and exploring new and exciting market offerings.
This role reports to the Head of Quality.

• Drive liquid creation and innovation within West Cork Distillers:
• Modifying and improving existing products as well as creating new and appealing blends
• Generating new product ideas and recipes for both West Cork Distillers and our customers
• Compounding spirit drinks
• Sourcing and managing packaging and ingredients suppliers for NPD projects
• Liaise with the production and quality teams to manage first production runs and subsequent product handover.
• Work closely with other areas of the business such as Commercial, Production, Quality and Finance.
• Management of the NPD software and production of various reports as required.
• Bench-marking West Cork Distillers products
• Other duties as assigned to you by your manager
