QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in related fields such as, but not limited to: Allocations, Visual Merchandising, Store Operations or Planning, and at least 1 year of management experience preferred
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable feedback. A strong problem-solving skillset
  • Capable of prioritizing and delegating workload in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong process implementation – ability to think big in ways to scale current processes
  • Ability to quickly pivot with the everchanging needs of the business, works well under pressure
  • Sense of urgency and excitement to be a part of the company’s future new store growth initiatives
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with senior level management
  • Able to formulate a point of view of the business and to summarize opportunities and strategies
  • Strong team management and leadership ability
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to learn systems quickly. Power BI or Tableau experience a bonus

Responsibilities:

Inventory Build Planning:

  • Collaborate with the Allocation team to review forecasted demand and determine optimal inventory levels for New Stores at time of Grand Open
  • Oversee the process of ensuring Remodels, Relocations, Expansions, and Conversions receive timely and accurate allocations
  • Partner cross functionally to identify optimal assortment and execute accordingly

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Manage key reports and processes for new store sales and inventory analysis
  • Monitor sales performance to ensure forecasts are capturing demand appropriately
  • Partner with Data Science team to help transform manual data sets into dynamic Power BI dashboards that fuel analysis and deliberate changes
  • Utilize analytical skills to identify and resolve system data discrepancies
  • Develop a story from large data sets to create an action plan accordingly

Process Improvement and Team Development:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance overall inventory efficiency
  • Implement best practices for inventory management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage and develop team to be successful both individually and as a cohesive group

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with (but not limited to) New Store Merchandisers, Store Operations, Allocations, Visual Merchandising, Buying, Planning to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Communicate inventory positions for all new store growth projects
  • Manage the communication of the Store Projects Schedule and communicate weekly deadline changes cross-functionally
  • Coordinate delivery schedule with Distribution centers and communicate to necessary parties
  • Adapt quickly to new allocations timelines based on changes to overall company strategy
