Description:

Summary/Objective
This person will be an outside sales representative for New Commercial Trucks.
Follows and adheres to all policies and procedures related to Sales. Seeks out new business opportunities to grow sales volume and increase profitability all while providing exemplary customer service.

Essential Functions

  • Directly responsible for all sales within the assigned territory, including but not limited to, assigned regional, house accounts and local chains.
  • Write customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines.
  • Listen to and resolve customers’ complaints regarding products or services.
  • Call on prospective customers to explain company services or to solicit new business.
  • Achieves sales profit standards.
  • Proposes customer terms based on customer profitability and credit worthiness.
  • Maintains sales standards by account.

Education and Experience

  • Must have a minimum of three years’ direct sales experience.
  • Outside sales strongly preferred.
