KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- University Degree in Interaction Design, Product Design or similar
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience
- Experience in the UX/UI design and implementation process in the automotive industry
- Expert in User Experience research with a strong focus on Interaction Design
- Knowledge and experience in relevant UX/UI development tools and animation software, such as Figma, Adobe After effects, Illustrator, and more
- A deep understanding of both general and automotive GUI principles, with the ability to adapt them creatively for unique interaction methods
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and presentation applications, such as Alias and VRED, would be beneficial
- Excellent project management and coordination skills, able to lead projects from conceptual phase to execution
- Capable of generating own ideas for projects and processes, hands on mentality
- Able to lead and guide team members by motivating, inspiring and challenging to thrive and develop high quality outcomes.
- Strong collaboration skills, confident in interacting with executives, positive thinking, flexibility and the ability to adapt in a multicultural and quick developing environment
- Proficient in both written and spoken English, displaying excellent communication skills and responsiveness
- Commitment and motivation to travel outside of Europe
Responsibilities:
- Creation and definition of research projects centered around novel User Experience and User Interaction topics, as well as research on USP-definition for Interior projects
- Development of these research projects (independently, as well as in collaboration with the relevant counterpart department in Korea)
- Creation of striking UX principles and UI design proposals and their graphic development for production projects with focus on “challenging the status quo”
- Visualization and development of these design proposals, and their presentation to the management
- Provide expertise and guidance to designers and developers at external suppliers during the design development phase
- Follow-up of the design development during the feasibility phase of a projectResearch and trend scouting activities
