THE OPPORTUNITY:

As the NGL Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of Canadian Natural’s diverse NGL portfolio. The position will also involve the management of various notices for scheduling NGL pipeline shipments and tracking of balances versus forecast.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Scheduling

• Manage the monthly NGL, Butane, and Propane volume forecasting for Canadian Natural’s operated facilities, including regular review with stakeholders, intra-month and month-end reconciliation
• Submit, monitor, and update required nominations and notices on various platforms based on NGL production at pipeline connected facilities, trucked facilities, and fractionation facilities
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry counterparts
• Manage Butane and Propane shipments from Canadian Natural’s storage contracts or direct movements from facilities in Western Canada

Logistics

• Work with Trucking Vendors to manage NGL delivery schedules into Canadian Natural’s fractionation plants
• Manage pipeline and trucking constraints related to Canadian Natural’s NGL movements
• Manage various nominations at multiple Truck Terminals to optimize flows
• Work with other NGL team members to analyze and optimize NGL netbacks.
• Maintain effective liaison with Marketing, Operations, Production Field and Office staff, various Accounting groups (both external and internal) and external Trucking contacts
• Provide after-hours/weekend support
• Contribute and support the development of effective contingency plans for unexpected operations upsets and market conditions

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

• Typically 3+ years of oil and gas industry experience with preference given to candidates with logistics or scheduling KSAs
• Degree in Business or Engineering
• Proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheet applications is required
• Strong communication, organizational and team skills, complemented with a strong work ethic is required
