Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As Night Auditor, you will be an ambassador for the hotel and deliver exceptional service to our valued guests. The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to work in all aspects of the Front Office Department including Reception, At Your Service (Switch Board), and Concierge, allowing a well-rounded skill set.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Host our Guests by welcoming all guests using a professional yet friendly manner
  • Check-in/Check-out guests, answer calls from both in-house and outside guests.
  • Assist with Concierge duties including; Valet parking cars, assisting with guest luggage and deliveries whilst taking a proactive approach to assist the rooms division wherever needed
  • Be fully conversant at all times with activities and facilities within the hotel, operating hours, costs, etc., as well as all aspects of Brisbane and its services, specifically tourist attractions, restaurants, theatre, shopping, etc.
  • Anticipate guest needs and handle guest inquiries in a helpful and attentive manner
  • Handle reservations enquiries and assist with accommodation bookings
  • Balance department dockets and cash, and ensure credit cards are all in balance before closing shift
  • Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information
