NIGHT RECEPTIONIST

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Observe all security, health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all guests are welcomed and checked-in into the hotel in a warm, genuine & professional manner & when possible, addressed by their name. To be fully conversant with check-out procedures in an informative & helpful manner.
  • Beware of the current hotel availability and propose up-sell and cross-sell whenever it is possible, to maximise room occupancy and hotel revenue.
  • Adhere to all hotel credit policies, taking care with payments and seeking support from the departmental leaders when necessary.
  • File all new arrival registration cards after updating all the relevant information
  • File all dockets from Restaurant/Bar/Room Service.
  • Close all City Ledgers and third party payments for the next day departures.
  • To deal with all guest complaints and if necessary seek assistance of a more senior team member.
