Maxsys is currently looking for a night shift Fitter / Welder for one of our valued clients in the Windsor Junction Area.

• Permanent role w/benefit after 3 months’ probation
• Experience dependent starting at $25/hr.
• Monday to Thursday – 4:30pm – 3:30am (Night Shift)

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST be a fitter welder for this position
• Block 1 (Metal Fabrication) or Level C (Welding) or equivalent training and/or experience
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business correspondence and technical documents
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and other employees.
• Ability to work with math concepts such as: metric and imperial metric conversion; percentages.
• Basic math skills math such as: multiplication, addition, subtraction, division, and apply them to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to visualize an object in both two and three dimensions
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation
