Position: Night Shift Manager
Location: Enfield, London
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Nights 22:00 to 07:30am
Criminal Check required: Yes

We make promises to our customers, and we’ll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Responsible for driver and fleet legal compliance in accordance with DHL Asset Management Centre of Excellence standards
  • Accountable for the delivery of all aspects of the shift operation ensuring the delivery of efficient & customer focused service
  • Ensuring all crews (including agency) are appropriately inducted, trained and familarised with both operations and equipment and accurate records kept
  • Ensure accident/investigation packs are completed to a high standard in a timely manner in readiness for sign off at the next level
  • Deputising for the Transport Manager as required
  • To schedule, prepare and conduct quarterly 1-2-1’s with all direct reports in line with OMS guidelines
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures, as well as conducting 1-2-1’s within guidelines
  • Ensuring all drivers are aware of and comply with Accident and breakdown management via DHL standard operating procedures e.g. Golden Hour & Much More!!
