• Accept the full responsibility that comes with his/her position in line with Cascades’ OHS requirements.
• Help set OHS priorities for his/her sector in line with corporate objectives and follow up on them.
• Insist on and create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees in his/her sector.
• Promote sound occupational health and safety management
• Performance reviews semi-annually, as required.
• Employee discipline as necessary.
• Train, develop and motivate plant employees.
• Maintain and analyze production reports.
• Schedule and lead production/crew meetings.
• Identify maintenance and/or repair needs daily in conjunction with maintenance.
• Approve and monitor overtime.
• Update and approve employee time sheets in UltiPro.
• Control overhead costs (line-item assignments).
• Sign off A/P invoices in conjunction with Plant Manager.
• Respond to calls immediately
