Role Description:
We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience in TypeScript, Node.js to join our team responsible for building integrated solutions for Microsoft Office users.
Our Microsoft Office add-in gives Refinitiv Workspace users an unmatched financial data and intuitive UIs to make thoughtful decisions in daily business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirements
- Develop software using well-adapted software development principles and lead and coach the team on the same
- Build unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirements
- Reuse existing systems that drive sophisticated applications
- Ensures responsiveness for applications and services
- Identify and resolve performance and stability issues
- Handle individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX team, and Software Engineers to deliver an outstanding product
- Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the deliverables
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Required Skills:
- 2+ years experience in TypeScript and Node.js
- Proven technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing
- Strong experience in CI/CD, unit testing frameworks, automation (testing/deployment)
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Attention to details
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Angular
- Experienced with Agile methodologies, Scrum
- Experience in Office.js
- Familiar with RESTful interfaces
