As the NOEP Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in individuals’ lives, making a significant impact through:

  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive outreach plan focusing on increasing the communities’ knowledge of SNAP and the Summer Food Service Programs.
  • Implement outreach activities as outlined in the aforementioned comprehensive plan. Activities will include, but not be limited to, travel and participation in community events, presentations to potential participants and community providers.
  • Prescreen potential participants to determine eligibility in the SNAP.
  • Stay informed about changes and updates to federal and state requirements and eligibility criteria for the SNAP and changes in other assistance programs.
  • Participate in trainings, conference calls, and meetings organized or suggested by the Hunger Solutions NY.

NOEP Coordinator Minimum Salary: $19.00
NOEP Coordinator Maximum Salary: $19.50
NOEP Coordinator Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00-4:00
Wednesday 11-7

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience working with a diverse population
