REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in international relations, economics, management of cultural activities or natural and cultural heritage protection, or other related subjects.
Experience
- Professional experience in coordination, planning, monitoring acquired at international level.
- Prior work experience with the United Nations or its Specialized Agencies, Funds or Programme.
Knowledge, skills, and competencies
- Strong competence on Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases
- Good communication, research and analytical skills to be able to rapidly analyse and integrate diverse information from various sources, interpret needs and requirements
- Good organisational and planning skills and an ability to meet established deadlines, including, under pressure
- Experience, ability to work and positively cooperate/interact in an international multi-cultural working environment
- Ability and willingness to be a team-player with strong interpersonal skills
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience
- Experience in working for or with other national and/or international development cooperation agencies
Skills/Competencies
- Knowledge of UNESCO’s mandate, programme and operational processes.
- Experience on implementation of EU funded projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent coordination skills
- Discretion, initiative and service-oriented to provide quality and timely support and services
- Sense of integrity, confidentiality, commitment and reliability.
