Our current Nordic Brand Manager is moving to a new, exciting role in sales, and we are therefore looking for a Nordic Brand Manager to join our Nordic marketing team in Ørestaden, Copenhagen. We work with strong brands as Gevalia, L’Or, Friele, Espresso House and Café Noir. The role will be responsible for creating, driving and implementing brand & category strategies and tactical plans in the Nordics. The role includes working with both retail and away from home channels.
You will have close collaboration with your colleagues in marketing and sales as well as global marketing based in Amsterdam.
The Nordic Brand Manager reports to the Nordic Category Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Brand Manager with minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience from FMCG marketing.
  • Strong commercial understanding & interest
  • Analytical and strategic thinking – able to convert data into insights.
  • Accustomed to lead and drive a brand / category.
  • Great presentation skills that will communicate clearly and with high impact
  • Good interpersonal skills and interest in collaborating across functions & borders.
  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Economics or Business-related specialty
  • Fluent in Swedish or Danish and Englis

Responsibilities:

The Nordic Brand Manager develops the brand & category strategies and plans and drives implementation of the tactical marketing plan to achieve short and long-term sales, profit and market share targets.
The role is responsible for compiling, sharing and translating key market, category & consumer insights into strong business opportunities. Other responsibilities include portfolio & SKU management / optimization, project management and artwork development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and present the annual business plan (AOP) for a brand / category that will achieve the agreed financial, market share and brand equity targets.
  • Evaluate and create business cases for new opportunities in each market.
  • Create and project manage 36-month New Product Development (NPD) plan as well as develop and drive product launches and activation plan.
  • Work with local sales and shopper marketing teams to generate ideas for NPD and launch NPD’s to ensure category and brand growth.
  • Project manage launches and changes in product, packaging and pack offering.
  • Responsible for local portfolio management to ensure an optimized and correct product line up vs market opportunities
  • Deliver strong, clear sales meeting presentation and trade presentation.
  • Monitor/control marketing budget for the respective brand/category

Work closely with insights team, media team, brand communication, sales & finance
