QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of organisational dynamics
  • An entrepreneurial persona who takes full ownership over responsibilities
  • Proven experience in operational leadership, preferably within both tech cabling infrastructure projects and managed services in an international environment
  • Existing network that can be translated to key relationships within the business
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions
  • Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to make informed decisions and optimize profitability.
  • Strong understanding of processes and systems to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and people management abilities, with the capacity to influence and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in Norwegian and English

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall operational strategy in alignment with Onnec’s goals and objectives
  • Understand the needs and challenges of the Norwegian market, and develop customised operational strategies
  • Identify potential clients and forward leads to Head of sales Nordics
  • Build and manage relationships with key clients, vendors, prospects, distributors and stakeholders
  • Manage projects and provide support as needed in close collaboration with Project Director Nordics
  • Ensure compliance and legislation, staying fully compliant with Onnec and industry standards, and national legislation
  • Manage infrastructure and logistics through setting up logistical aspects, procuring efficiently, and setting up efficient support for local projects
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement
  • Forecasting and budget responsibilities for all aspects of the local business
  • Recruit and manage talents through identifying, attracting, mentoring and retaining candidates/employees in close collaboration with HR Nordics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and resources
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols to create a secure working environment
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize costs and improve service quality
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms
  • Provide regular and accurate reports and updates to Nordic Senior Management
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they meet their individual and team targets
  • Establish key metrics to measure the progress and impact of operational strategic accounts.
