Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
To reinforce our teams, we are looking for a Devops Engineer / System Engineer speaking French & English.
Responsibilities:
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipelines: creation of automated processes for code deployment, which includes integration, testing, deployment, and release of the software in a streamlined way
- Infrastructure Design and Architecture (IaC): development and maintenance of infrastructure through code for better version control and consistency, execution of scripts for automatic setup, configurations, and deployments
- DevOps Tools, Trends, and Best Practices: staying updated with the latest DevOps technologies and trends, applying best practices for software development, integration, and delivery, and exploring new tools for improved efficiency and productivity
- Collaboration: working closely with various internal teams, including software developers and IT security to ensure the quality and stability of software releases and operation processes
- Automation: automation of repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and reduce the risk of human errors in tasks such as software server configurations, and system updates
- Optimization: working with network, application, and system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and applying changes where necessary to optimize system performance
- Documentation and Audits: maintaining documents related to the infrastructure and configurations, as well as participating in audits to ensure consistent and reliable infrastructure, keeping record of completed tasks, issues resolved and unique system configurations.
- Monitoring, Analysis, Reporting: continuously tracking and monitoring system and network performance, analyzing these metrics, identifying potential issues and generating reports detailing performance, uptime and any issues faced
- On-call Rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
- Incident Response and Troubleshooting: responding promptly to IT incidents, identifying their root causes and implementing effective solutions and troubleshooting any hardware, software, or network anomalies to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Other duties as participating in special projects, assisting in system upgrades, and contributing to initiatives
