Description:

We design, integrate, support and maintain high quality Audio Visual and Unified Communication systems and solutions into corporate, government, education and defence sectors.
As an AV UC Commissioning Technician, you will work in the technical deployment team configuring and setting up Networked AV-UC systems and verifying their functionality on customer sites. It is a hands on, client facing role predominantly working at various client sites in the Sydney CBD and some time in our Head Office located in Frenchs Forest. Occasional regional work and interstate travel may also be required.
Key Experience & Capabilities
- Strong PC skills, including O365 proficiency, with industry certifications (Cisco or MS Teams preferred).
- Understanding of network-based devices, serial communications, Ethernet networks, and AV systems.
- Methodical approach to fault finding, diagnosis, and resolution, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, make technical decisions, and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable using small hand tools and knowledgeable in AV installation.
- Reliable, dependable, and motivated to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Passion for AV technology, commitment to quality, and a proactive attitude
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing technical and network faults
- Setting up device configuration details
- Loading programming and code onto systems
- Performing system tests and verifying functionality
- Completing commissioning documentation for work carried out
- Collecting MAC addresses and assigning IP addresses
- Provide technical support alongside the service team
