JOB SUMMARY:
The Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures involving the use of radiopharmaceuticals for cardiac imaging. This role requires a detailed understanding of nuclear medicine technology, including the preparation, administration, and monitoring of radiopharmaceuticals, as well as the operation of imaging equipment. The technologist will work closely with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current registration with CAMRT, CMRITO
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills are essential. Please indicate if you are fluent in any additional languages.
- Superior patient care skills with a customer service approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
- Demonstrate effective time management, decision-making skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment and procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, professional.
- Experience: Prior experience in cardiac nuclear medicine is preferred.
