JOB DESCRIPTION

The Nuclear Project Manager is responsible for administering the security contract and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. This position is also responsible for providing management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes. This position is the primary point of contact for human relations functions involving AUS RSS employees. To support and ensure success in this role, we provide a comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course designed to provide best practices, tools and guidance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements
  • Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
  • Must possess a minimum of five (5) years in the nuclear security industry or equivalent
  • Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management in security or a related field
  • Must possess knowledge of or experience in project management

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Nuclear Security Contract; provides daily status reports to client and coordinates dissemination of information regarding shift related activities, interface, and conduct staff meetings/reviews to ensure deadlines are achieved, perform shift visits in accordance with site requirements to include backshifts and weekends, communicate with and observes shift personnel on a daily basis, interface with union leadership, daily interactions with client
  • Perform AUS RSS human relations functions
  • Selection and placement of new hires
  • Perform AUS RSS administrative functions; review labor scheduling validation post report prior to posting to headquarters each Monday, prepare weekly contact labor expense and activity report as outlined by client, validate fiscal monthly close and ensure deadline to Assistant Controller is maintained, conduct semi-annual Career Development Reviews, prepare quarterly performance profit award documentation for client negotiation, review and billing, prepare and submit the monthly management report, check and respond to emails, prepare special project report(s) or activities as requested by the client or headquarters
  • Provide operational guidance involving nuclear security related events
