Description:
Performs various patient care tasks and uses non-professional skills to assist the nurse in providing personal care and comfort measures. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Nurse Assistant performs delegated tasks and procedures of patient care, involving the physical, psychological, social, emotional, safety, and security needs of the patient. This is a safety sensitive position.
