Join our ever growing Endoscopy team and be a part of the newly refurbished Endoscopy unit with modern technology equipment to deliver excellent service to our patients.
Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest acute Trusts in the country.
Our 3 Endoscopy departments based on Hammersmith Hospital, St Marys Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital . All our departments offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including; Upper and Lower GI Endoscopy – Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Flexi Sigmoidoscopy, and Bronchoscopy
Specific to Charing Cross we have four procedure rooms and we are recruiting to meet the increase demand of Endoscopy and Bowel Screening Services. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our screening colleagues at the West London Bowel Cancer Screening programme as we deliver the FOBT Services to our catchment area.
We will provide training to the highest standard and there are opportunities for you to progress and develop within our teams
The Role of the Nursing Associate is to assist and support the Registered Nurse/ Midwife in ensuring optimal care for the patients across the trust. The post holder will be responsible for delivering high quality, patient centred compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse/ Midwife with a focus on promoting health and independence. They will be an accountable professional and have the ability to work without direct supervision; within the parameters of practice by undertaking a range of duties appropriate to the level of responsibility and knowledge and skills acquire.
