We have a great opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner Director, Clinical Services! The ideal candidate functions as IKC’s (Integrated Kidney Care) Nurse Practitioner lead responsible for quality, education, and nursing services. Responsible for the implementation of programs to improve patient quality outcomes by providing training, education, project management and support for NP teammates across all of IKC. Spearheads clinical innovation in integrated care for kidney patients, in and outside of the clinic.

  • Experienced NP operator, a leader within DaVita with a strong reputation amongst peers
  • This leader will be positioned to sit within the Clinical Services team and help lead and coach NPs across all geographies
  • Create and lead NP Manager coaching around leadership and soft skills and work closely with clinical education to create content for NP Manager training
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) and resource to the NP Manager team with dotted-line responsibility for this team
  • This teammate will spearhead and prioritize the work of developing NP culture across the Village
  • Owner of NP post-training adoption

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Implementation of NP culture & development
  • Dotted-line reporting ownership of NP Manager lane
  • Creation of content for NP Manager training
  • Create and lead NP Manager Coaching, feedback, microlearning (leadership, & soft skills)
  • Monitor NP Manager coaching effectiveness
  • NP Recruiting Consistency (i.e. experience required, job description)
  • Ownership of CCR process, training, and execution
  • Leader of NP SteerCo, leader of NP Council
  • Specialty Ops NP Advisor
  • NP/RN workflow integration with MOC team and Product

EDUCATON AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area
  • MSN or MBA- Preferred
  • Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of CA
  • Experience managing a clinical team
  • Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating management; demonstrated financial expertise- Preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and managing at multiple operational levels
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficiency with Cerner EHR, Vsee, other clinical IT platforms
  • Ability to work with confidential information and capacity to use discretion and professional judgement
  • Dialysis experience- Preferred
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
