Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of the MN-NP program with a Family Nurse Practitioner designation.
- Active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- At least one year of clinical experience in primary healthcare, including assessing and treating children, youth, and adults in acute, community, or outpatient care settings, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and management.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions for adults, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and performing medical procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, leveraging advanced computer-based assessment technology.
- Develop and implement tailored, shared client care plans to address individual health needs.
- Deliver health promotion, client education, and disease prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
- Address mental health needs through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Provide client education through individual consultations, webinars, and newsletters to promote health literacy.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to enhance patient outcomes and team success.
- Experience with children and youth services is considered an asset but is not required for this role.
