ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Liverpool Hospital is seeking a flexible, adaptable, and driven Nurse Practitioner or Transitional Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team.
We are seeking a champion of change, a person of influence, and someone who is passionate and dedicated to their profession and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The NICU team are in a period of growth and change in their service and is looking for someone who will advocate for the NP field. This role is your chance to make true and lasting changes in NICU within SWSLHD and work with a dedicated team to redesign clinical services. You will be flexible, adaptable and be ready for a challenge that will drive your career as well as the quality of patient care provided. This is your opportunity to work autonomously and use your empathy and enthusiasm to build the team.

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is educated and endorsed to function autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced and extended clinical role. The NP role includes assessment and management using nursing knowledge and skills. The role may include, but is not limited to, the direct referral of patients to other health care professionals, prescribing medications and initiating and interpreting diagnostic investigations.
