We are seeking a Nurse Unit Manger – Cath Lab to join our team on a Permanent Full Time managing a team of 40 staff.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. Responsibilities:
- Providing operational direction for the Cardiac Cath Lab to ensure efficient and effective management
- Coordinate the delivery of safe, efficient and effect evidenced based nursing care
- Provide leadership, guidance, mentoring and support to your nursing team
- Be accountable for the effective management of human, financial and material resources
- Have a working knowledge of flexible rosters, budgets and key performance indicators
- Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
- Ensuring the delivery of excellent patient and family centred care in a team focused environment
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Undertaking direct patient care, as required
