QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education:

  • A tertiary qualification in public health nursing or other healthcare qualifications. Should be licenced to practice in South Africa.
  • Professional trainer’s certification in Basic Life Support and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Experience:

  • Have vast experience in outbreak response and emergencies
  • At least 6 years of progressive professional experience in healthcare
  • Creation of training programmes and campaigns
  • Workshop & presentation training

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Lead, develop and implement outbreak related trainings
  • Conduct remote outbreaks related services for field offices
  • Analyse and advice on work-related health issues related to disease outbreaks , providing risk factors and solutions

Languages:

  • English. Knowledge of french would be an additional advantage
