Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our team on Ward 2 at Blyth Community Hospital .
Ward 2 is a 26 bedded in-patient ward which delivers care and rehabilitation to the older person.
We aim to provide high standards of care to a vast range of patients with complex needs, with an emphasis on discharge planning and support.
Candidates should have a keen interest in the care of the older person and possess excellent communication skills.
To assist the qualified nurse in the delivery of direct and non-direct patient care.
Undertake a range of delegated clinical care tasks.
Complete care records.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in order to meet the holistic needs of the patient.
