Working 22.5 hours per week as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Nursing Associate role will see you bridge the gap between Healthcare Assistants and Nurses, supporting them and the wider team to deliver high quality, person-centred, compassionate care to Service Users.
With experience from the NHS or private sector, you’ll have a natural way with people and be able to communicate effectively as you provide person-centred care and support for adults with acute mental health conditions.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported and, will have access to a range of training courses and professional development to support your career growth.

AS A NURSING ASSOCIATE, YOU WILL BE:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing high-quality nursing care
  • Responsible for personal development and support the development and supervision of others by developing and maintaining specialist knowledge
  • Working proactively to ensure that every Service User is well cared for
  • Respond to emergency situations with composure, maintaining safety and seeking support, supporting the resident, family and other staff as required
  • Maintaining clear, accurate and concise clinical recordsMaintaining resident dignity and confidentiality at all times
  • Ensuring clinical practice is evidence based or peer reviewed “best practice”Developing and maintain clinical skills and knowledge necessary to deliver and evidence-based service.
  • Participating in the supervision, caseload monitoring and clinical education of student nurses and less experienced staff with support of senior staff
