Title: Nursing Practice Consultant - Maternal Child Health
Salary: $99,505 – $122,073 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Term – August 29, 2025 (with possibility of extension)
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday (core hours 9am – 3pm)
Location: Sinclair, Downtown Vancouver – Hybrid (50% in office). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, summer 2026.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maternal Child Health Practice Consultant focuses on providing culturally safe, evidence informed and comprehensive support to the Community Health Nurses working in BC’s First Nation communities. This position is dedicated to promoting family, child and early childhood health and wellness. Applicant should be skilled at supporting nurses in their delivery of education to individuals and families during pregnancy, birth, and early childhood through education, consultation and resource development.
To be successful in this role you will have/be –
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Three (3) years of experience in community and/or public health nursing providing clinical practice support and education to nurses.
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM).
- Remote Certified Practice with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM).
- Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
