Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our Nurture Hub, a key part of our Locality Nurture Resource Provision (LNRP). This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, enabling them to thrive in a nurturing, inclusive environment. As part of a dedicated team, you will work closely with students to remove barriers to learning and provide them with the tools to succeed academically and emotionally. The role involves creating a safe, supportive space for students while embedding nurturing approaches, such as trauma-informed and restorative practices. The role will be delivering subjects across the curriculum, with a key focus on literacy skills.
To be successful, you will have or be willing to work towards the National Nurturing Schools Programme qualification and should demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering a relational approach. This will be fully supported by the school. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on vulnerable children’s lives, helping them re-engage with learning and school life.
This role is for an initial five-year period, linked to this role being supported by external funding.
