Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented NYSC Legal Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated and resourceful law graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. You will work closely with our senior lawyers, providing legal support on a wide range of matters across various practice areas.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Education : LL.B. from a recognized university and completion of the Nigerian Law School (BL).
- NYSC Status : Current NYSC member in active service, deployed to Lagos State or willing to redeploy.
- Strong academic background with an interest in corporate, commercial, and energy law.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple assignments efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and opinions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare memoranda on diverse legal issues.
- Provide support in corporate transactions, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance matters.
- Participate in client meetings, hearings, and negotiations, taking detailed notes and providing administrative support.
- Maintain and organize case files, legal precedents, and other important records.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external partners as required.Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends to support the team effectively.
