This is a 12 months fixed term role.

About the role

  • A member of the NZ Leadership Team, leading the HR function and a change champion to support organisational transformation
  • Promote a culture of engagement and positive relations, aiding managers in strategy development.
  • BBHR support aligned with business strategy and a trusted advisor to maximize organizational effectiveness, drive engagement, lead change, and provide HR expertise.
  • Implement the Aliaxis HR strategy & programs for NZ Businesses in collaboration with the ANZ HR team
  • Champion APAC DEI agenda, like recruiting Council members, setting meeting agendas, and promoting DEI culture.
  • Lead the NZ HR Team (Talent Acquisition, South Island Business Partner and HR Operations) and partner with Regional COE (Comp & Benefits, Talent Management).

About you
The desired candidate should thrive as a business partner in a fast-paced environment, ideally with manufacturing / blue collar experience. They should possess a high level of integrity, able to handle sensitive matters with professionalism, and have a knack for quality employee relations outcomes. The person must be well-organized, comfortable working on their own and managing multiple tasks in evolving environments. Experience working in a matrix structure, open-minded, agile, and adaptable. A passion for building DEI culture and nurturing Talent is desirable.
