Job Purpose
We are looking for a Flow Assurance Engineer to join our Flow Assurance & Computational Analysis Team at TechnipFMC Krakow. In this role you will be a member of a global Center of Excellence gathering experts dealing with multiple engineering disciplines and developing strategies for optimum operation of O&G extraction processes for TechnipFMC customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Performing 1D steady-state and transient studies related to O&G extraction from subsea reservoirs (knowledge of multiphase flow, PVT fluid properties, erosion, vibration and sand management, hydrate management, thermal analysis will be an asset)
  • Coordinating studies related to O&G production process and communicating results to external customers
  • Writing reports and operating scenarios
  • Understanding customers needs and design parameters
  • Cooperating with members from cross-functional teams to consult and resolve design challenges
  • Supporting engineers within the Flow Assurance local and global team

Our requirements

  • BSc/MSc degree in Engineering (preferably Chemistry/Physics, Power Engineering, Oil and Gas Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline)
  • Very good communication/leading skills to discuss and explain technical information with all project stakeholders
  • Proficient in the coordination of extensive work packages managed by diverse engineering teams
  • Fundamental knowledge of fluid flow, fluid properties and thermodynamics
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level)
  • Ability to work as a team member in the international environment
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness

Optional

  • Several years of experience in process engineer role
  • Experience in OLGA, HYSYS, PVTsim, Multiflash, Ledaflow, Pipesim
  • Knowledge about relevant Oil & Gas subsea production system, products and components
