GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Environmental Protection Division (EPD) of the Texas Attorney General’s Office represents the State and its agencies in civil proceedings involving energy and natural resource issues. EPD has a collegial team of 25+ litigators with a robust practice in State and federal trial and appellate courts, handling all aspects of litigation. An ideal candidate has an interest in environmental litigation, oil and gas, energy and utility issues, Texas lands and parks, and is willing to learn about these areas of law and gain valuable civil litigation experience. EPD prides itself on the quality of legal services it provides on behalf of the State.
