GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Human Trafficking Division of the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is seeking an Assistant Attorney General that performs moderately complex civil work. Work involves civil human trafficking litigation; planning, coordinating and otherwise managing all stages of civil litigation including, but not limited to drafting pleadings, pretrial motion practice, propounding and responding to discovery, participating in depositions, hearings, and trials in state court; providing civil legal advice, counsel, and assistance; and conducting legal research into novel issues. Applicant will work closely with criminal prosecutors and investigators and will work on cases throughout Texas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: At least 3 years of civil litigation experience
- Strong legal research skills
- Other Language: Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
