Description:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in implementing and managing observability tools on GCP, with a focus on OpenTelemetry frameworks.
- Terraform Experience
- Kubernetes and GKE experience
- Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience in scripting and automation for integrating observability tools in cloud environments.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a cloud context.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues using monitoring and observability tools.
- Proven track record of enhancing system performance and reliability through effective observability.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in GCP , observability or a related field.
- Google Associate Cloud Engineer Certification or other Google Cloud Professional level certification
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing OpenTelemetry solutions.
- Experience in cloud-based monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and manage observability and monitoring solutions on the GCP, leveraging OpenTelemetry frameworks.
- Build monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of applications and services in the cloud.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate observability tools and practices into the development lifecycle.
- Conduct detailed analysis and troubleshooting of complex system issues using observability tools.
- Develop custom instrumentation, metrics, and logs to enhance monitoring capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in GCP observability and OpenTelemetry.
