Description:

AeroLogic is a modern cargo airline based at Leipzig/ Halle Airport. It was founded in 2007 as joint venture of DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo. With a very modern fleet of 22 Boeing 777F AeroLogic mostly serves destinations in Asia and the USA. AeroLogic has a daily connection to Hong Kong and several connections like Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Chicago und Los Angeles.
For the Flight Operations department AeroLogic is looking for a:
OCC-FOA / Flight Dispatcher / Flugdienstberater (m/f/x)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Educational Background: High school graduate, preferably with a focus on aviation.
  • Relevant Experience: Experience in airline operations, ideally within an OCC as a flight dispatcher or operations controller.
  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with OCC systems (e.g., LIDO, Netline Ops, Netline Crew, CFMU, Sita Mission Watch).
  • Regulatory Familiarity: Understanding of EASA AirOps and ICAO/IATA SARPs.
  • Completed professional training as aviation commercial or equivalent
  • ICT Proficiency: Competency in MS Office Suite.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and preferably German
  • EU citizen or at least EU residence permit
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support: Provide strategic assistance to the Operations Control Center, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations across our intercontinental network.
  • Flight Planning: Calculate safe, time, and cost-efficient flight plans to/from some of the busiest and most interesting destinations of the world.
  • Crew Briefing & Assistance: Offer comprehensive briefings and inflight support to flight crews, ensuring the safe conduct of flights.
  • Operational Oversight: Maintain continuous tracking and monitoring of the fleet, including flight following, monitoring, and flight watch.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks related to flight operations, such as weather hazards, technical issues, and strikes.
  • ATC & Traffic Flow Management: Manage ATC slots and traffic flow restrictions within our network of operations.
  • Daily Coordination: Coordinate day-to-day operations and recovery plans with pilots, ATC units, ground handlers, and fuel providers worldwide.
  • Recovery Plans & Rescheduling: Assist the shift manager in managing recovery plans and schedule changes, providing support for operations and crewing.
