Description:

JOB TITLE: OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Location: Lifemark - St. Catherines Physiotherapy Centre
145 Carlton St., Lake & Carlton Plaza, St Catherines, ON L2R 1R5
Employment Status: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Rate Compensation: (based on experience - option to work under a variable pay model is available)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Solid experience in the assessment and treatment of adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological (mTBI), and mental health conditions.
  • Experience in Occupational and Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset.
  • Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
  • Excellent oral, written and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and new technology.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • A diverse caseload with assessment and treatment of clients funded by WSIB with complex musculoskeletal, TBI and mental health challenges.
  • Flexibility to work in person or virtually, with the ability to structure your schedule to meet your needs and the needs of your clientele.
  • Creating and implementing holistic, individualized treatment plans based on critical analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Managing caseload in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment.
  • Participating in case conferences and case management.
  • Collaborating with the inter-professional team, various stakeholders and other Occupational Therapists.
