Description:

ERM is seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Technician to join our consultancy team in Lima, Perú.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic inspections to detect, identify, and assess occupational risks, preparing technical reports with recommendations.
  • Prepare and monitor health and safety programs and the client’s manual, ensuring implementation and compliance.
  • Provide required safety and hygiene training to personnel, including awareness campaigns and certified documentation.
  • Oversee environmental conditions in the workplace and supervise ergonomic adjustments, ensuring compliance with local safety standards.
  • Control and monitor specific risk agents, including the use of PPE, and perform inspections of machinery and hazardous substances management.
  • Investigate work accidents, report findings, and propose preventive measures to ensure ongoing safety.
  • Prepare periodic compliance reports on safety and hygiene regulations, preventive plans, and implemented measures.

Requirements:

  • Registered safety technician qualification
  • Familiarity with current Peruvian occupational safety regulations (preferably with international standards knowledge like ISO 45001 and NFPA 101).
  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish to effectively communicate and coordinate with teams.
