Description:

What You’ll Be Doing:
· Health Surveillance: Conducting regular health assessments such as audiometry, spirometry, skin assessments, and Hand Arm Vibration (Tier 1 & 2).
· Fitness for Work Medicals: Carrying out medicals for specific roles like drivers, those working at heights, or vision screening.
· Drug & Alcohol Testing: Conducting workplace drug and alcohol testing as required.
· Wellbeing Medicals & Health Promotion: Promoting health and wellbeing initiatives and delivering medical assessments as part of health promotion activities.
Who We’re Looking For:
· Previous Occupational Health Experience: Experience in health surveillance, fitness for work medicals, or similar roles.
· Travel Requirements: Ability to complete overnight stays and extensive travel across the UK (overnight stays may be required Monday–Friday, depending on client needs).
· Driving Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
· IT Skills: Competent in using MS Office Suite and/or electronic medical record systems.
· Autonomous Working: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues.
Working Hours & Flexibility:
This role operates on a consolidated contract, where 37.5 hours are typically worked over 4 days. Fridays are generally designated for rest and administrative work, but this can vary based on workload and travel requirements. The structure is designed to allow flexibility while maintaining a work-life balance and ensuring that all necessary work and travel time is covered.
Key Information:
· Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, spread over 4 days. Fridays are typically reserved for rest or administrative tasks, but flexibility is built into the role depending on business needs and travel requirements.
· Rest Periods & Health & Safety: The company adheres to UK Working Time Regulations, ensuring you receive appropriate rest breaks during your workday and travel. If your travel time exceeds 10 hours in a single day, overnight accommodation will be provided where necessary.
· Travel: Travel to client sites is a key part of this role, and you may be required to travel up to 2-3 hours each way for clinic visits. All travel time is included within your working day, and you will be reimbursed for any reasonable travel expenses, including mileage (reimbursed at the company rate) and accommodation where applicable.
· Accommodation: When required to travel overnight, accommodation costs will be reimbursed, and the company will either arrange the hotel or reimburse the cost up to a set limit. Please note that overnight stays are generally only required when travel time exceeds 10 hours in one day or if it’s not practical to return home after the working day.
· Expenses: All reasonable travel-related expenses (mileage, accommodation, and subsistence) will be reimbursed in line with company policies, provided receipts are submitted.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
