Description:

COME AND JOIN ONE OF THE UK’S LARGEST PROVIDERS OF COMPLEX CARE. WE PROUDLY EMPLOY OVER 4000+ PEOPLE - NO MATTER WHAT YOUR EXPERIENCE, WE HAVE JOBS FOR EVERYONE.

At Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, we’re passionate about helping individuals rebuild their lives after life-changing events. Take Annette’s story, for example.
Annette’s life was turned upside down after a stroke left her with severe mobility challenges, anxiety, and fatigue. Following specialist care at our Millwood Unit, Annette worked closely with our dedicated multi-disciplinary team, who tailored strategies to meet her unique needs. Through physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy, she regained mobility, transitioned to a regular diet, and reclaimed her independence. Today, Annette lives at home with her husband and credits our team with giving her a lifeline.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be instrumental in helping patients like Annette achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence.
At Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, we don’t just deliver care; we transform lives. Every member of our team plays a vital role in our patient-centred approach, empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and embrace new possibilities.
Annette’s words resonate with us: Anything is possible. If you share our belief and are ready to inspire hope and recovery, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement personalised and group-based Occupational Therapy programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Play a key role in the efficient functioning of MDTs by performing essential tasks such as liaising with families, attending and documenting CPAs, and taking minutes for meetings.
  • Support the training and development of care staff and other team members, promoting a strong foundation of Occupational Therapy principles within care practices.
  • Actively contribute to the service’s therapy team by sharing insights, exchanging information, and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records, assisting in the generation of high-quality management reports across the service.
  • Foster and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, and members of the MDT to ensure seamless collaboration and care delivery.
  • Keep people safe from any harm and protect their human rights.
