QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Master’s degree or doctoral degree in occupational therapy from an AOTA-accredited school of occupational therapy.
• New Jersey Occupational Therapy license.
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.

Preferred:

• 1-2 years clinical experience preferred.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS (NON-EXEMPT POSITIONS):

• 8:00 5:00
• Days
• Per Diem

• Provides care to all age groups by patient’s age.
• Participating in the QI/PI program and Occupational Therapy intern clinical education.
• Assists in the supervision of staff on the outpatient service.
• Participates in revision and maintenance of policy and procedure/intern manuals.
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
• Collaborates scheduling of outpatient and inpatient caseload in conjunction with supervisor.
• Demonstrates compliance with in and out patient billing process.
• Demonstrates the ability to identify what the patient/member educational needs are.
• Directly supervises the clinical work of the technicians and keeps the supervisor and managers informed.
