Description:
Assist occupational therapists in the development and delivery of agreed specific individual and group therapeutic programmes both within the unit and in the community. Facilitate community skills assessments and treatment programmes as directed by Occupational Therapists. To organise the Recovery College programme and associated administrative tasks. Contribute to the service user involvement strategy as required.Co-ordinate patient interview panels.
Deliver specific recovery-based interventions. Provide progress reports for patients as required. Actively contribute to service development activities.To undertake escorting duties as required. Attend relevant meetings as required.
Communicate effectively within the occupational therapy team and with other colleagues. Be involved in Clinical Governance activities as required. Accurately record statistical information. Keep accurate, appropriate and contemporaneous patient records in accordance with local and Trust policy.Undertake administrative tasks as directed by the occupational therapy team and the unit Liaise with external agencies as required
