Description:

Forensic Occupational Therapy is a specialism, assessments and intervention are undertaken to contribute directly to developing the multidisciplinary teams perceptions for ongoing and emerging needs. As an occupational therapy technical instructor you will directly contribute to this using a variety of methods, activities and practical skills. You will be supported to adopt a relational approach to maximise continuation of the therapeutic alliance and the relational security.
Service users receive input from Occupational Therapy at the earliest opportunity on their forensic pathway. Outcomes are continually measured and evaluated with the service user and at clinical meetings, establishing the effectiveness of the treatment offered and identifying any additional needs.
