Description:
OCM SPECIALIST
On behalf of our client Procom is seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist. Reporting to the People Readiness Manager and working with the project delivery team, you will define and execute the change management strategy within the program and/or for the underlying projects. This includes design, execution, and oversight of activities to support the people readiness component of successful, sustainable change contributing to business results.
This opportunity will appeal to an individual who is passionate about helping to solve complex business challenges in a fast-paced, broad change environment. This si a 12 month contract with a 4 days on site expectation. .
OCM SPECIALIST MANDATORY SKILLS
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- 8+ years of change management experience in a large corporate environment supporting cross-functional, complex initiatives or technology transformations.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business or a related field.
- Experience within the oil and gas industry would be considered an asset.
- Accreditation/Certification in industry-recognized change methodology (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) or equivalent training and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface and facilitate effectively with a diverse group of executives, leaders, subject matter experts, and end-users.
- Sound understanding of Operations and Maintenance business practices (Upstream/Downstream).
- Familiarity with technical MoC in oil and gas environments.
- Working knowledge of MoC applied to processes and assets.
OCM SPECIALIST DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with SAP MoC module (Management of Change).
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive change management strategies to support the people readiness side of delivering program/project objectives.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, change readiness, and organizational impact assessments to identify change impacts to a wide audience.
- Facilitate discussions for gathering and understanding stakeholders and impacts of the change at various levels of the organization and across business areas.
- Identify the impact of culture on change initiatives and design an approach and interventions to help achieve desired behaviors and ways of working.
- Facilitate understanding and definition of the skills, competencies, and training required in the future state.
- Work collaboratively with the project team, organization design, organization effectiveness, learning, and communications teams (as applicable) to recommend and design creative options for optimal results.
- Advise and support sponsors and leaders in their roles as change champions in a model of leader-led change.
- Develop measurement approach to monitor how effectively the organization is progressing through the change and achieving desired benefits.
