Description:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Formal Tertiary education:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Diploma or degree in Education would be advantageous
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a call centre, customer service, or technical support role is preferred
- Familiarity with educational platforms or e-learning environments is an asset
- Experience working with primary and high school learners is highly desirable.
SKILLS:
- Placed full time at a secondary school/facility
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages IsiXhosa or IsiZulu)
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, learner-friendly language
- Proficiency in using computers and online learning platforms
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Basic understanding of primary and high school educational content across various subjects
- Knowledge of common technical issues related to online learning (e.g., connectivity, platform navigation)
- Familiarity with ticketing platforms is advantageous.
